With nearly 35 years of full-time real estate experience, Debbi is a partner at Corcoran Icon Properties and co-leads The DiMaggio Betta Group alongside her husband, Adam Betta, and son, Chase Betta. A licensed broker since 1989 and a 4th-generation San Francisco native, Adam Betta brings more than three decades of experience to every transaction. As Managing Broker and a member of the CIP Leadership Team, Adam oversees 80 agents, partners closely with legal counsel, and guides the office managers and agents through the daily complexities of real estate, with a particular focus on the most consequential part of any deal: disclosures.

Clients and colleagues know Adam for one thing above all: accessibility. Whether he's on a ski lift, on the golf course, late at night, or first thing in the morning, Adam picks up. That responsiveness — paired with meticulous attention to detail and the patience to walk anyone through a complicated question — is what keeps transactions on track and clients confident from offer to close.

Adam represents buyers and sellers across the full spectrum of the market, from first-time starter homes to multi-million-dollar estates. His comprehensive toolkit, sharpened over thirty-plus years, allows him to tailor strategy to each client's unique goals and deliver results that reflect both market realities and personal priorities.

A Career Built on Depth

Adam earned his real estate license in 1987 and began his career selling residential properties in San Francisco before relocating to Piedmont to raise his family. In 1998, he founded The Highland Group, a property management and leasing company, before joining The Grubb Company as a Broker Associate. Seeking a deeper understanding of the lending side of the business, Adam spent several years in the mortgage industry, knowledge that continues to give his clients an edge today.

In 2009, in the middle of the recession, Adam partnered with Debbi DiMaggio and Heidi Marchesotti to launch Highland Partners. After twelve years building the firm, Highland Partners merged with Corcoran, where Adam has continued to grow as a leader and broker.

Strategic Mind, Practical Expertise

Adam credits much of his success to his economics degree from the University of San Francisco, where he graduated cum laude. That foundation gives him a strategic edge at the negotiating table and a fluency in the numbers that complex transactions demand. His command of property management, leasing law, and intricate loan programs allows him to advise clients on everything from increasing the value of an investment property to deciphering the fine print on a lending package.
