Adam is the Broker while Debbi keeps things exciting as the Marketing Director where she oversees 100 agents assisting them with their marketing and business goals through mentoring and coaching.

Debbi and Adam’s VIP Philosophy includes treating everyone like a VIP from the contractors (plumbers, painters, interior designers) to movie star clients (Julianne Moore, Ted Danson, Sally Field, and Director, Chris Columbus to name a few). As San Francisco Bay Area Realtors and two of the three founders of HIGHLAND PARTNERS, Debbi DiMaggio and Adam Betta are proud to share that HIGHLAND PARTNERS, was voted Best Real Estate Agency in Oakland Magazine’s 2014 Best Of Oakland and the East Bay. It began with an Oscar Party and morphed into co-hosting a charity event for Voices 4 Freedom, an organization seeking to raise funds to free villages from bonded slavery in India and other oppressed countries. Elated with the outcome of that evening the team raised enough to fund 3 schools for one of their primary programs, Schools4Freedom which focuses on education as a way out of slavery. “We know that one of the best ways to get people out of slavery, keep them out, and to prevent others from ever being enslaved in the first place is through educational programs.” Philanthropy has always been the cornerstone of her success. Doing what she loves, helping people whether through real estate or her charity work.

Debbi first received her Real Estate license in Los Angeles where she worked with Coldwell Banker in Hancock Park. More About Our Team

When Adam represents buyers and sellers---whether purchasing or selling a starter home or transacting their second or third high-end residential estate, Adam uses all personal and professional tools in his arsenal to ensure the best results for his clients. His close attention to detail coupled with his strong work ethic all enable him to continue a very successful career in real estate as well as to increase his pool of satisfied clients.

After receiving his real estate license in 1986, this fourth generation San Francisco native worked with buyers and sellers of residential properties in San Francisco. In 1998, Adam created and managed a property management and leasing company called The Highland Group, which partnered with The Grubb Company. Two years later in 2000, he became fully associated with The Grubb Company as a broker associate representing both buyers and sellers. Adam stepped over to the mortgage side of the business for a few years in order to sharpen his knowledge of the lending industry. In 2019 during the downturn Adam and his partners launched Highland Partners Residential Real Estate where he took on the role as Broker with more to give to his agents as well as his clients while they are faced with today’s rapid changes. Due to his training and immersion into the many facets of real estate, Adam is able to offer more knowledge and understanding to each of his clients. And in September, 2021 Highland Partners merged with Corcoran Global Living to expand their brand and network while gaining more tools to better serve their clients.

Adam credits his degree in economics from The University of San Francisco ( where he graduated cum laude ) for helping him find the right leverage in negotiations on behalf of his clients. His knowledge of rental property and leasing laws also make him well suited to advise clients in increasing the value of their income properties and homes. His experience in mortgage lending also helps his clients to understand more clearly, the, sometimes complicated loan process and programs.

Relationships with his clients drive Adam the most. The experience of buying or selling real estate can be a very stressful and emotional process; therefore Adam takes particular care in walking clients through each step. Seeing an elated client signing their final papers is his favorite reward. In addition, Adam’s meticulous worth ethic; enthusiasm, patience and skillful negotiation have made him a favorite resource for current clients and new referrals.
